This website is an authorised CUCKOO sales page operated by Sharon, an independent authorised sales representative of CUCKOO International (MAL) Berhad ("we", "us"). It is not the official CUCKOO Malaysia website. This policy explains what information is collected when you use this page and how it is used, in line with the Personal Data Protection Act 2010 (Malaysia).
1. Information we collect
- No forms, no accounts. This page does not ask you to type in your name, phone number, email or payment details.
- WhatsApp contact. When you tap a WhatsApp button, the WhatsApp app opens with a pre-written message. Nothing is sent until you press send. If you message us, we receive your WhatsApp name, phone number and the content of your messages.
- Usage and advertising data. If Google Analytics / Google Ads tags are enabled, Google collects cookies or similar identifiers, device and browser information, approximate location, the pages you view and which buttons you click (for example "WhatsApp click"). This helps us measure our advertising.
- Hosting logs. Our hosting provider (Cloudflare) processes technical data such as IP address and request time to deliver and protect the website.
2. How we use your information
- To reply to your enquiry and recommend suitable CUCKOO products and plans.
- To arrange quotations, orders, delivery, installation and after-sales service with CUCKOO International (MAL) Berhad.
- To measure and improve our website and advertising (Google Ads conversion tracking).
- To keep the website secure and working.
3. Sharing
We do not sell your personal data. When you place an order, the details needed for your order, delivery, installation and service are shared with CUCKOO International (MAL) Berhad. Website and advertising data is processed by Google and Cloudflare under their own privacy policies. WhatsApp messages are handled by WhatsApp (Meta).
4. Cookies
This page itself does not set login or shopping cookies. Google tags may set cookies for analytics and advertising. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and manage Google ad personalisation at adssettings.google.com.
5. Retention
We keep WhatsApp conversations and order details only as long as needed for your enquiry, order, warranty and service, or as required by law.
6. Your rights
You may ask to access or correct your personal data, or ask us to stop contacting you, at any time by messaging us on WhatsApp.
